 So, let me tell you about me, my company and the job.

My name is Tony Lindauer and I run a company called Transformation Fitness and Wellness in Indianapolis, IN.

My business is dedicated to providing educated solutions to individuals fitness and wellness needs.  We develop customized nutrition and fitness programs base on clients goals.  

I'm looking for a Motivated, Outgoing, and Organized person to run the office operations.

  My studio is located at 2505 N Delaware St  Indianapolis IN.  We are located in the Fall Creek Place next to Goose the Market.

I currently offer customized fitness and wellness programs to clients one-on-one and in a group setting. The programs are designed to educate the clients on fitness and nutrition, based on individual goals.     
 
If you are hired for this job, the first 2-4 weeks will be a training period of 20 hours/week.  Once you have made it past the training portion you will be evaluated and a schedule will be set for work hours up to 40 a week. All applicants must have resumes in by June 1st 2012.

Tasks I Need You To Perform
  • Answering  and returning phone calls and emails from customers and prospects: I get quite a few phone calls and emails every day.  You will need to respond to each of these with basic information I'll provide to you.  So you need to be comfortable with the phone, using email and be a good typist.
  • Filing/Tracking:  Basic filing and organizing too keep up with the paper flow on new clients and projects.
  • Website management: Ideally, you'll have some technology skills and can do some basic updates to my web sites (if not, I'll teach you how).  You do NOT need to know HTML, but if you do , that's a plus.  Also, if you're familiar with FrontPage and are generally comfortable with internet technology, that's definitely a plus.
  • Client and Trainer Scheduling:  You will be in charge of updating any changes on client's and trainer's schedule on a daily basis into the company software program.
  • Payroll/Bill pay: We will train you how to enter in payroll on a bi-weekly basis and make required bill payments.  You must be good with numbers and general accounting.  
  • Generating Business Reports:  We will train you on how to generate reports in the company software program.

Required Skills

 These are the skills you must already have in order to qualify for this position:

  • Advanced MS Office Proficiency- you must be very comfortable using the Microsoft office programs.
  • Customer Service and People Skills -Poised, tactful and diplomatic to handle sensitive and confidential situation.
  • Microsoft Excel - you must have basic Excel skills - we don't do anything advanced with this software, just some simple spreadsheets, but you must be comfortable doing what I need you to do.
  • Good Phone Personality/Etiquette - you will be talking with my customers, who are VERY important to me, and prospective customers, who are also important.  You must be comfortable conversing on the phone, in person, and through email.  You must know how to conduct yourself professionally, take clear messages and deliver clear instructions to the prospect or client.  I'll teach you everything you need to say and do, but I can't teach you manners and professionalism.
  • Email - A great deal of your work will be via email.  I use a web-based program that's easy to learn (you'll understand it within 30 minutes).  You need to be very comfortable and proficient with email.
  • Thoughtfulness and Organization - I need you to be able to think for yourself and be organized.  I am very serious about this one.  I do not want a robot, I want someone who learns and grows with me.
  • Attention to Detail -  I need you to be able to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.

Bonus Skills

 If you have these additional skills, your resume will go right to the top of the stack (but if you don't have these skills, you should still apply because these are not mandatory).

  • Technology -  If you have a good back ground in technology like web-based marketing and website design this will be a great advantage.
